Arriving at our farm in October 2016, Smokin Ice Cloud is our exciting new stallion here at Glory Gait Farm and he was carefully selected to complement our vision of producing world caliber Missouri Fox Trotter horses here on the East coast. His pedigree, conformation, temperament and gait were carefully taken into consideration.
Ice is a handsome and correct stallion. He has size at 15 hands and is a substantial individual with a temperament of pure gold. He gravitates towards people and enjoys accepting treats from visitors at the farm. Ice is a steady mount and is as comfortable on the trail as he is at home with his many admirers. Ice is a black roan with sabino markings which makes him capable of producing beautiful colors with lots of chrome.
His sire Ramblers Ice Storm J is a son of the 1996 World Grand Champion Senior Model stallion Ramblers Traveler. His dam is a granddaughter of the 1985 World Grand Champion stallion Black Cloud C. In addition, Smokin Ice Cloud carries four crosses to the immortal Missouri Traveler E which we feel will really complement our mares and those of discriminating mare owners on the East coast. We look forward to the future and what Ice can produce with our mares!
We invite breeding inquiries and anticipate being able to offer cooled shipped semen in 2017.
In loving memory
Travelers Nod-A-Lot, by Missouri Traveler E
Our stallion page would not be complete without a tribute to the stallion who showed us all here in Pennsylvania what a Missouri Fox Trotter should be! Nod was a Model Grand Champion Stallion at the Ava, MO show in 1983 as a two year old and a Champion producer. He had never been in a show ring prior to this debut and his victory was a record breaking accomplishment at that time. As a sire it should be noted that his foals gaited from the minute they hit the ground and grew into incredible horses. Nod was a direct son of Missouri Traveler E...perhaps the most famous Fox Trotter stallion of all time. The Traveler blood is still highly prized in today's Fox Trotter pedigrees.
